What is the license factor?

The license factor is a number that is determined based on your Polarion license. To purchase an UPPS!E production license, you will be asked to provide your license factor. The license factor will be used for following purposes:

• Determines purchasing cost of your UPPS!E production license, amongst other factors (see License Fee).
• Determines the validity of your UPPS!E production license. Meaning: If the license factor granted by your UPPS!E production license is greater or equal to the license factor of your Polarion license, the UPPS!E license is valid.

How can I determine the license factor of my Polarion license?

Option 1: Use the UPPS!E License page within Polarion

For this option, you need to have the UPPS! Extension installed as specified here. Once installed, open the Polarion global administration and navigate to the topic UPPS! Extensions > License (1). You will then find your license factor at the top of the page (2).

Option 2: Manually determine your license factor
